    • Pursued projects centered on green engineering.
    • Designed Smart Switch, a microcontroller based lighting control system

  • 1977 - 2005:   IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY

    • Opto-Electronic-Integrated-Circuits (OEICs) and detectors
      • Invented and developed high speed, integrated, silicon, Trench Detectors.
        Fastest Integrated, Silicon Detector at time of introduction
      • Designed 32 channel OEIC receiver array  for the OETC consortium
      • Designed magneto-optic receiver chip for RW Optical Storage
      • Did early development of MSM detector based OEICs
        for IBMs fiber optic channel
    • Analog design
      • Designed transimpedance amp for 10 Gb/s ethernet
      - IRDA,FIR,AIR compatible, Opto-electronic package.
      - Designed analog receiver portion of 5v and later 3v tranceiver circuit
      - Was produced with major market share
  • 1974-1977: Symbiotic Systems, Inc Davis, CA

    • Designed CPU, video display, and memory cards for uC system.
    • Co-founder of company.
